Getting to Crayfish Cottage Portrush

Crayfish Cottage, Hopefield Avenue, Portrush, County Antrim

We're roughly an hour's drive from Belfast and 3 hours from Dublin.

Entering Portrush along the A2 (Bushmills Road), take the 1st exit at the large roundabout beside the golf club continuing along the A2 (Crocknamac Road).  Hopefield Avenue is the 6th turning on the left just before the Eglington Road roundabout. Continue along Hopefield Avenue and you will see the cottage on the right hand side.

Portrush train station is less than 5 minutes drive from our cottage, with connections to Belfast and beyond http://www.translink.co.uk/Services/NI-Railways/.

There is excellent year-round public transport http://www.translink.co.uk/ but to make the most of the spectacular sights and attractions, we’d recommend a car.  Car hire is available at all airports, Larne ferry terminal and the nearby town of Coleraine (10 minutes drive).

Highlights

  • 10 minute walk to East Strand Beach and Portrush harbour
  • 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 double, 1 twin)
  • free WIFI
  • wood-burning stove
  • "secret" garden with bbq and patio
  • private off-road parking
